The Memory and Perception in Schizophrenia (MAPS) Laboratory is interested in learning more about attention and memory in people with mental illness. We currently have several different studies for which we are recruiting volunteers. Studies are conducted at the University of Chicago Medical Center in Hyde Park.

In order to see which, if any, of our studies you may qualify for, we request that you provide us with some preliminary information. The easiest way to do this is to complete our confidential online Pre-Screening Questionnaire. This questionnaire is completely voluntary and confidential.

You only need to fill out the survey once to be considered for ALL of our studies.

Once you have filled out the questionnaire, we will review your responses and be in contact with you within 24 hours, 9:00 AM-4:00 PM Monday-Friday. If you have already filled out a questionnaire, please DO NOT fill out another questionnaire.
