Attitudes and Preferences for Colon Cancer Screening Tests among Individuals with Lynch Syndrome

You are being invited to complete a survey that is part of a research study conducted by investigators from University of Chicago. The goal of this study is to assess your preferences about screening tests for colon cancer using feedback collected through this survey.
If you agree to participate, you will be asked to complete a questionnaire. We expect it will take you about 10-15 minutes to complete the survey. We will ask questions to evaluate what
characteristics of colon cancer screening tests you consider meaningful. You will see several hypothetical colon cancer screening tests side by side which vary in how they are done, how often they are performed, their accuracy at detecting colon cancer, and potential complications, among other characteristics. Afterwards, you will select which test you most prefer.
The questionnaire will not contain any information that could be used to identify you.
There is a slight risk of loss of confidentiality, but we will take every step to protect your privacy. You will not benefit from the survey, but we hope your participation in this study will help us understand the attitudes and preferences of Lynch syndrome carriers i when selecting among the available test options for colorectal cancer screening.
